B197 — test on automatic, drive manual cars
Practical test in an automatic — with proven manual-gearbox skills you may later drive manual cars too. Same registration, app and driving lesson prices as with B.
What the law requires
- Theory: 14 double lessons of 90 minutes each (12 basic + 2 for class B)
- Practice: 12 special drives of 45 minutes each — 5 on rural roads, 4 on the motorway, 3 at dusk/in the dark
- On top of that come practice lessons as needed — after your first drives we will tell you honestly how many
- For the manual-gearbox qualification, additionally: at least 10 driving lessons of 45 minutes in a manual car and a 15-minute proof drive with the driving instructor

What does it cost?
Registration €349, learning app €50, every driving lesson €65 (each incl. VAT). The exam presentation (€250) and the first aid course (€50) are added separately.
